INDUSTRY IN ACTION WITH JASMINE ECCLES
Jasmine’s career spans West End, film and global commercial work. Her credits include Thriller Live (West End), Wicked(movie), Snow White (movie), Janet Jackson, Dua Lipa, Will Smith, Disney’s Aladdin, X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent, Adidas and more. Bringing that level of experience into our studio was truly special.
Jasmine originally joined us to deliver an Industry Friday session for our College students — and we were so passionate about sharing that opportunity that we extended the experience to our Intermediate and Advanced Musical Theatre Academy students completely free of charge. Our Academy performers took part in a Wicked workshop inspired by Jasmine’s work on the movie ensemble, gaining real insight into professional rehearsal standards, performance expectations and what it takes to succeed in the industry.
This is what we mean by training beyond the weekly timetable. At Born to Perform, we care deeply about the quality of training our young people receive, and whenever we can offer additional enrichment opportunities, we will.
Providing access to working professionals helps our students raise their standards, build confidence and see what is truly possible for their future.
Experiences like this don’t just teach choreography — they inspire ambition.
a visit from jack bROWNHILL
We are beyond excited to have welcomed Jack.
Jack graduated from The Northern Ballet School 2014 and began his career as a dancer and lead aerialist with Royal Caribbean, before performing for various corporate event companies in London.
Jack discovered a passion for teaching and has since dedicated himself to training young dancers at vocational institutions across the UK and Ireland.
Currently, Jack teaches across all courses such as Shockout Arts Manchester, Dancebox Studios and Theatre Works, Rame College of the Arts, and Nadine’s Dance Company. From September, Jack will take on the role of Head of Dance and Musical Theatre at Dancebox, further cementing his commitment to shaping and inspiring young performers.
He has taught at some of the industry's most prestigious conventions, including Move It! 2025, Can You Dance? (CYD), and Taaffe Associates.
Known for his attention to detail and emphasis on clean technique, Jack’s dynamic approach nurtures and supports the next generation of performers, helping them understand the industry they are entering and achieve excellence in a competitive field.
We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Briony to BTP for an unforgettable one-day workshop — and WOW, what an experience it was!
With a career that spans TV, international tours, music videos, and major stage productions, Briony brought her incredible energy, knowledge, and industry insight straight to our studio. Her credits include working with Pharrell, Kylie Minogue, Celine Dion, Take That, Snoop Dogg, Christina Aguilera, Whitney Houston, Calvin Harris, Will.i.am, Fergie, Madonna, Camila Cabello, Ceelo Green, Shawn Mendes, Bebe Rexha, Zara Larsson, Jason Derulo, and Fletcher – and she brought every bit of that world-class experience to our dancers.
Currently teaching at Base Dance Studios in London and the legendary Millennium Dance Complex in L.A., Briony continues to inspire and mentor the next generation of elite performers – and she did just that right here at BTP.
