INDUSTRY TRAINING; GUEST TEACHERS AT BTP COLLEGE
INDUSTRY IN ACTION WITH JASMINE ECCLEs.
We were proud to welcome Jasmine Eccles to Born to Perform College, and the impact on our learners was immediate.
Jasmine’s career reflects the level of professionalism we strive to prepare our students for. Her credits include Thriller Live (West End), Wicked (movie), Snow White (movie), Janet Jackson, Dua Lipa, Will Smith, Disney’s Aladdin, X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent, Adidas and more. She works at the highest commercial level of the industry — and brought that standard directly into our rehearsal space.
During her Thriller Live masterclass, our College students were challenged to meet professional expectations in stamina, precision, performance quality and rehearsal discipline. Jasmine didn’t just teach choreography — she shared real insight into sustaining a career, audition resilience, adaptability and the mindset required to work at elite level.
This is what Industry Fridays at BTP College are designed to do — bridge the gap between training and profession.
As a College, we are committed to ensuring our students have direct access to working industry professionals. When appropriate, we also open selected opportunities to our senior Academy learners, reinforcing our ethos that professional-level training should be accessible, aspirational and visible. Jasmine’s visit was more than a workshop — it was a benchmark. A reminder of the standard, and what our College performers are working towards.
