JASMINE ECCLES VISITS BORN TO PERFORM
We were absolutely thrilled to welcome Jasmine Eccles to Born to Perform for an incredible day of industry training across both our College and Academy.
At Born to Perform, we are committed to giving our students genuine access to the professional industry — not just learning about it, but experiencing it first-hand. Jasmine’s visit was a powerful example of what that looks like in action.
Industry Friday at BTP College
As part of our Industry Enrichment Programme, our College students took part in an electrifying Thriller Livemasterclass. Jasmine delivered commercial precision, performance detail and the level of discipline expected in professional rehearsal rooms.
With credits including Thriller Live (West End), Wicked (movie), Snow White (movie), Janet Jackson, Dua Lipa, Will Smith, Disney’s Aladdin, X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent, Adidas and more, she brought invaluable insight into the realities of sustaining a career in the industry.
For our College learners, this was about more than choreography — it was about understanding professional standards, adaptability, stamina and performance quality at the highest level.
A Special Academy Experience
Later in the day, our Intermediate and Advanced Musical Theatre students took part in a Wicked workshop, led by Jasmine following her work in the Wicked movie ensemble.
The session was inspiring and aspirational. Students gained insight into professional rehearsal processes, on-set expectations and what it truly takes to perform in large-scale productions. The energy in the room was focused, motivated and driven — exactly what we strive to cultivate.
Training Beyond the Studio
Days like this are why Born to Perform continues to grow. We believe in surrounding our students with working industry professionals who have walked the path they aspire to follow. It builds resilience, raises standards and reminds them that their ambitions are achievable with commitment and hard work.
